Job Description: Work in one of the many food and beverage establishments. Grow your skills and develop as a chef while learning what it takes to make a large food & beverage department successfully operate within a premier resort. There are a variety of restaurants and outlets, ranging from food courts to fine dining and everything in-between. Job duties include (but are not limited to): preparing various foods under supervision for restaurants and banquets. Following prep sheets accurately and with a sense of urgency. Attending equipment training and practice those techniques learned. Reading, understanding, and following recipes and standards. Rotating products and keeping a clean station. Demonstrating teamwork and cooperation with service staff.
Location: Copper Mountain, Colorado. Known as “Colorado’s Perfect Ski Mountain,” Copper Mountain is a beautiful mountain area that provides tourists with amazing vacation experiences. This full-service resort area provides visitors with both summer and winter adventure. Located approximately 75 miles west of Denver, Copper Mountain is one of the largest resort areas in Summit County. There are so many activities that visitors may engage in, or they may relax in the many restaurants, lounges, retail, and lodging facilities.

Earliest Start Date: November 1, 2008 * Will accept people until December 1.
End Date: May 1, 2009
Pay Rate: $9.00 - $11.00 per hour (depending on experience)
Overtime: $13.50 - $16.50 overtime (not guaranteed, depending on experience)
Hours: 35 hours/week
Housing: Company housing provided. $150 housing deposit required (will be refunded depending on housing conditions). $70 per week in a double occupancy room (2 people per room).
Experience: Some experience preferred. High level of customer service skills required. Must have the ability to lift 50 pounds, and the ability of standing or walking for up to 6 hours at a time.
English level: Good English level.
