Brazil
is a country rich in culture and natural beauty, but
many of its people live in poverty, and much of its
ecological diversity is at risk of being destroyed.
You will start the Volunteer Brazil program with an
orientation familiarizing you with Brazil, as well
as Portuguese language lessons. You can even learn
Capoeira and Samba! The second portion of your program
will be volunteering with the program of your choice.
From helping educate disadvantaged children, to helping
preserve the natural environment in Bahia. Volunteering
in Brazil is a truly rewarding way to experience and
give back to a country that will certainly enrich
your life.

Working with Children
There are a variety of children’s projects that
need your help and creativity. A majority of projects
are related to educating children on health and hygiene
issues, or teaching arts such as music, dance or painting.
Volunteers in these projects play a key role in the
development of young children and their ability to
be successful in society. more

Funding
your experience:
For many, the most difficult part of embarking
on an international journey is being able to fund
